Cover of Maybe ForeverI’m so excited — Maybe Forever goes live today! If you pre-ordered your copy, it should be pop up in your e-reader as soon as you sync it. A few people have already told me they’ve got it in their Kindles now.

Since I am naturally impatient, I checked already to see if it was live on Amazon yet (and it wasn’t), but I suppose they will change the status in a couple of hours since they operate on PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) and I am in Sweden where it’s CEST (Central European Summer Time).

To celebrate the release of Maybe Forever, I’ve teamed up with fellow IR/MC authors Xio Axelrod, L. Penelope, LaVerne Thompson and Ines Johnson for an online release party on Sunday, 17 May!

It’s a Love in Many Shades event and there will be giveaways, gab and games. So swing by–it starts on Sunday the 17th at 1PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) and continues until 3:30 PM EDT.

Don’t forget to check out all of the authors who’ll be part of the fun. Why not follow their Amazon Author pages and check out their work? 🙂

Every night she followed the path into the forest and didn’t stop until she was at the very spot where, on his last night on Earth, he made a promise to her. “I’ll look for you everyday,” he’d said. “And hope that you’re there looking for me too.”

And so, from that night on, she searched the skies for him, wondering if the space station was in orbit above her. She tilted her head back and squinted at the dark sky awash with so many stars. She’d learned to tell the difference now between shooting stars and satellites buzzing by.

Sometimes an intense flash of light streamed across the sky and she wondered if that was the station and if he was standing by one of its windows, looking down at earth, looking for her. The communiques were few and far between. When she received them, they were heavily censored. Five years of redacted communiques but what she remembered of any of them was how his loneliness permeated each word. And though he’d told her not to wait for him, he’d told her to move on with someone who could keep his feet on the ground, she waited.

One day he would return. And she would be his again.

Screen Shot 2015-03-21 at 20.50.11It’s Maybe Baby‘s first birthday, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s hard to believe that a year ago I pressed publish on Amazon and people began discovering Laney & Mads’s story.

To celebrate, there’s a giveaway or two on my FB author page. So head over–you could win one of three autographed Maybe Baby notecards or an autographed paperback of Maybe Baby.

It’s my little way of thanking everyone who fell in love with Laney’s story of self-discovery, her story of falling in love and understanding what she really needed.

Soon the continuation of Laney & Mads story will be out–will keep you posted with the release date, but it’s with an editor now, so I hope that I’ll have good news for you in a few weeks.

So, once again, thank you for all your love and support! Your enthusiasm for Laney, Mads and their love story has been amazing. This has been a wonderful year–and I couldn’t have done it without you! 😀

Linger_ a short story, new cover-3Valentine’s Day is not my favourite holiday, but I do like the idea of spreading love. So to get in the spirit of things, I’m giving you a little Valentine’s Day present–my Kindle-only short story “Linger” is free all weekend! So from now until Sunday evening you can either get your own copy or gift it to a friend who hasn’t tried my writing yet.

Think of it as a starter–I’ve already decided that I am going to expand “Linger” into a novella or a novel. If you haven’t read it, it’s set in Stockholm and it’s about a woman and her husband’s ghost. It’s not a Stephen King-esque ghost story (though I do have an unfinished ghost story that is and I really should finish writing it–it would make my writing buddy, Kim Kane, very happy if I did). 🙂 Keep an eye out for it…but you know I will keep you posted on its progress. It might be ready by late summer.

And then, to continue spreading the love, I’m sharing teaser images of love messages from Maybe Baby and Maybe Tonight all weekend. Keep an eye out for them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and tsu.

Hope you all have a great Valentine’s Day weekend–happy reading (and whatever else you get up to)… 😉

30 daysLast week (I think) fellow author Nia Forrester mentioned the 30 Days, 30 Stories challenge and I said I was game. So what is it? Starting 27 January, we post one very short story or vignette per day. Of course, I missed the first two days–I blame it on still having a case of mushy brain from having lots to do at the office–but today I posted my first vignette on my FB author page.

Head over and have a look.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in last’s week’s cover survey. The majority of you (52%) preferred Cover 1. A little over thirty percent preferred Cover 2 and the rest didn’t like either cover and wanted another hottie. I think I will go in the direction of Cover 1 but look for another image. 🙂

Now, my Facebook author page hit the 900 fan mark last night and to celebrate it I posted a teaser from Maybe Baby. I decided to share the teaser here as well! Hope you like it! 🙂

Maybe Baby Teaser Jan 10 2014I’ll keep you posted on the actual release date for Maybe Baby. I initially planned a February release but it might take another month or two, depending on how busy things get at the office.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Happy reading (and writing)!
