And then complain to Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing for misleading authors and readers–according to their platform and all information made available to authors, anyone who has purchased a book that is updated will be notified as soon as the update is available and then said update will appear automatically in your Kindle once you sync and check for new items.
However, I was just informed by KDP support that there is a “glitch” and it’s not automated. And they haven’t given me any useful advice yet for how to solve the problem other than “it might take four weeks to fix it” and “tell people to ask for a refund and then they can re-purchase the file and get the new book”.
I am sorry about this. I can only say that anyone who purchased it after 18 April can see up to chapter 8. I am waiting for Amazon to get back to me and let me know how they intend to fix this problem. Until they can fix it, I will set up new blog later this week where I will publish all of the chapters. I have also asked Amazon to refund your money to you if they cannot come up with a way to solve this problem.
